Renske is also creativeIn my leisure time I like to design and make jewelry. The first time I designed and made something was for school. I liked doing it so much that I continued. I bought a few books about making jewelry and I made a little studio in my room where I can work. So I really hope I will improve designing and making jewelry. In my school portfolio you can see the ring I designed and made for a school assignment.
I do not only work with metal, coper, silver and gold, I also like to work with wood. Even if it is just a tree-trunk. A few years ago I made a didgeridoo out of a tree-trunk. One year after that I made some furniture, like a stool, a table. I may sound very easy, but not if you make the design complicated. Which I do a lot.
Pottery! Yes, let's talk about my pottery collection, which I made myself. I really enjoy to work with clay, maybe that is because the material is just so kneadable. I started to work with clay when I was very young, the first outcomes of my work were of course not so good, on the other hand, it is art and who says when something is good or bad in art. That is something up to the artist, so at that point I decide now that it is good work for that age. The outcomes of my work now are is not professional work, but I am satisfied with the outcomes!
Ever seen me walking with a very flashy orange coloured bag? Well that one I made myself. Ever seen me walking in my pink pajamas? No? Thank god! (Although they are not ugly) I designed and sew them aswell. In the future I want to make more clothes and bags myself. Well, those are the main creative points. Then there are some little things like drawing, painting, making greetingcards, and trying out other arts.
